Last Saturday the Greens were in action in the National Amateur Cup for the first time when they played Xghajra Tornados.

Goals from Clayton Borg and Zack Camilleri gave us a 2-0 lead in the first half. Xghajra fought back in the second half and managed to draw the match at 2-2 until 5 mins from the end the Greens were awarded a penalty after a foul on Jamie Micallef, and Gordon Saliba made sure we were in the last 16 of the Cup with a well taken spot kick.

We will now be facing Zabbar St.Patricks in the last 16 of the National Amateur Cup later on this month.
