After a great season finishing 3rd in the 2nd Division, unfortunetly it wasn`t enough for our Promotion aspirations as the Greens were defeated 3-2 in Extra time against Vittoriosa in the 1st division play off. Although being the better side through out the whole match and coming back from a goal down in the 2nd half with goals from Jake Davies and Aaron Sammut our boys fell short to the 1st division side after a penalty in extra time.

Nevertheless it was a great season for our Football Club, finishing the highest position in our History and also gathering the highest amount of points ever. Our Serbian striker Lazar Doric also managed to finish top scorer in the division for the 1st time and our fans clearly understood the effort of our team throughout the whole season as they filled the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Green and white last Sunday.

We would like to Thank the players and coaches for their great commitment through the season and also all the fans backing us. We will come back stronger next season!
